Sharon Public Schools Energy Management         The history of our program. In 2005, Ken Wertz Director of Maintenance and Operations began consolidating energy management initiatives with the goal of eliminating energy waste in our system. Since then, the reduction on utility expenses has been in close to $300,000.00 per year based on the original baseline. This school year we are already making progress by reducing our overall electrical consumption in Cottage Elementary School ( Results2010-Nov) and focusing attention on our Middle School. We count on the support of our teachers, students and administrators to met our goals.
