Summer Reading Requirements for Grade 6

1) ALL incoming 6th graders must

*****Parents: there is a special note to you, too!
2) One free choice book (a book written by an award-winning author,
or a book that has received an award or a classic book:

Please bring your free choice summer reading book to class for the
first week. Your teacher will advise you of the date for your summer reading
assessment.
Support Sharon
High SchoolÕs English Language Arts Department by shopping at Barnes &
Noble in Walpole. In an effort to raise funds for their live theatre
presentations SHS is working together with Barnes & Noble Booksellers by
hosting a Bookfair at the Walpole store.
On June 13th
and 14th, right before FatherÕs Day at Barnes & Noble will
donate a percentage of every sale made with a special Bookfair voucher to SHA
ELA department Vouchers will be available online at SHSÕs website
www.sharon.k12.ma.us
and in hard copy from your
students. They will also be available at the main office and at the Sharon
Public Library. You can also simply mention that you want the donation to go to
SHA ELA when you check out.
